There are an assortment of benefits and services offered to alumni of the Journalism School, including access to career resources, discounts on computers, insurance, and a lifelong Columbia e-mail address. Stay in touch, update your profile and sign up for class and regional listservs.

Audit Classes

All University alumni are welcome to audit courses through the School of Continuing Education. The Auditing Program provides adults not currently enrolled in college with the opportunity to attend selected lectures drawn from the University's offerings in the arts and sciences during the academic year. You can access JobNews, a database of journalism jobs and internships that is regularly updated by the Office of Career Services.

Class Listservs and Regional Listservs

Every Journalism School graduating class since 1942 is now linked via an email listserv, a great way to connect with friends, share information, plan reunions, swap job leads, and debate ethics in journalism. The Journalism School has created listservs by region and class. To join a listserv or to change your email address, complete the Update Contact Information form.

Computer Discounts

The Columbia Alumni Association (CAA), in partnership with GovConnection, Inc., now offers Colimbia alumni discounted computers (notebooks, desktops, and tablets) and peripherals.
