Friday Informal Informational Meetings
Informal information meetings are conducted on Fridays from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The meetings are conducted in a small group setting and will cover an overview of the school and programs. We strongly urge you to RSVP for these sessions.

Information Sessions
Each fall, we invite you to attend information sessions to explore the School and a career in journalism. Faculty, students and staff will be available to answer your questions. The program will include a Q & A, faculty and student presentations and small group sessions. Saturday information sessions will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Weeknight information sessions will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. All sessions will be held on the third floor of the Journalism School.

The Office of Admission and Financial Aid holds Blog Talk Radio and YouTube sessions for prospective students to learn more about the school, programs and admissions requirements.

If you have questions about the program, the admissions process or deadlines, please attend one of our Friday information sessions. If are not able to attend one of our sessions, you may contact Monica Burnette in the admissions office to set up an appointment. An informational interview is an opportunity for you to meet with us one-on-one to go over your questions and concerns. These are generally 15 to 20 minutes in length. Please note: interviews are not required and hold no weight in the application process.
