Nicole Neroulias writes for The New York Times and for Religion News Service, a wire service that provides stories and photos about faith to USA Today, The Washington Post, BeliefNet and other media outlets.

Previously, she worked as a mobile journalist for The Journal News (NY), covering breaking news, providing multimedia content for LoHud.com, and reporting on a group of veterans returning to Vietnam; as a religion editor and city reporter for The San Mateo County Times (Calif.), where she won awards from the Religion Newswriters Association, the AP News Executives Council of California and Nevada, and the Peninsula Press Club; and as a reporter for the (Waterbury, Conn.) Republican-American, the Cyprus Mail and The Hartford Courant.

Nicole received a bachelor's degree from Cornell University and a master's degree from Columbia's Graduate School of Journalism. She was among the 17 religion journalists in the United States and Canada selected to participate in the 2006 Gralla Fellows Program at Brandeis University.
