Description

"Good Morning America" has announced plans to award its third annual Charles D. Gibson Fellowship to one current undergraduate or graduate student for a unique internship this summer at its New York City offices and studio. The recipient of this Fellowship will receive broad-based exposure to the many facets of ABC News' award winning, long running network morning program, with special access to its top management and on-air talent.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate prior experience in, and a commitment to, the fields of television, journalism and/or communications. This is a paid internship which may also be applied towards academic credit where available.

Applicants MUST meet the following criteria:
- Currently earning a college/university degree in Related Field
- Available 4-5 full days per week
- Excellent Communications Skills
- Demonstrated Computer Proficiency with Microsoft Office

This is a paid fellowship. Intern must be available 4-5 full days per week. Actual dates of the ten-week fellowship will vary according to the recipient's schedule, but must occur between late May and late August, 2009.
