DescriptionCollegiate Network (various news organizations) offers paid summer internships and year-long fellowships in Washington, D.C. and NYC. Internships are full-time. Possible part-time, paid school-year internships may be available.

The CN, founded in 1979, seeks the best conservative and libertarian student-writers and puts them in internships that catapult them into jobs at some of the nation's most prominent news and opinion publications. Summer interns and year-long fellows perform various tasks at publications ranging from USA Today and Reader's Digest to Roll Call and National Review. Many serve as reporters, copy editors, and fact-checkers. Some are executive assistants to top media personalities. All are afforded ample opportunities to write and report. Year-long fellows are fully integrated staff members of sponsoring publications.

Salary: Fellowship salary is $24,000-$30,000; summer internship salary is approximately $4,000.
