Centennial Panel on "Post-Industrial Journalism"

The Journalism School's newly-released report, “Post-Industrial Journalism: Adapting to the Present,” co-authored by Emily Bell, Columbia Journalism professor and director of the Tow Center for Digital Journalism; Clay Shirky, NYU professor; and C.W. Anderson, assistant professor, College of Staten Island (CUNY), had its New York roll-out this evening in WNYC's Greene Space studio.  Vartan Gregorian, president of Carnegie Corporation of New York, offered introductory remarks and Nicholas Lemann, dean of the Journalism School, was the moderator.  The conversation was preceded by a cocktail reception, attended by alumni, friends of the school and the journalism community.
