Application Reactivation

We keep all applications on file for one year. Applicants may reactivate their applications one time, only for the class immediately following their original application.

To reactivate your application, you must submit a new online application and you must create a new online account. Do not use your pin and password from last year. Please indicate you are a reapplicant in Essay A. In addition, you will need to submit a current resume, new essays and new letters of recommendation. M.S. students must retake the writing test. You do not need to resubmit your transcripts or TOEFL/IELTS scores unless they are over two years old.

Columbia University Privacy Policy

The Federal Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974, as amended, and its implementing federal regulations affords to persons who are currently, or were formerly, in attendance at the University as registered students a right of access to their "educational records" that contain information directly related to such persons. Persons who unsuccessfully applied for admission to the University are not covered by the Act. An unsuccessful applicant for admission to one of the schools or divisions of the University is not considered to be a "student" of that school or division even if the applicant is in attendance at another school or division of the University.
